On a gorgeous Saturday morning, I drove through the backroads of Placerville to meet Candice and her family for photos. Having never been to the area, I was surprised to see all the green hills, blooming flowers, and farm houses – it reminded me of the time I rode a bus through the hills of the Basque country in Spain. Beauty was in abundance everywhere! 

But even more beautiful than the scenery, was photographing this family together. There was laughter, baby animals, cherry trees, and open space to run! Here are a few favorites from our time together.
